Wgetting in shape requires dedication, motivation and work…but sometimes we’re not seeing the results we want, when we want! Our Wellness and Fitness instructor, Jillian at Travaasa Austin, gives the scoop on what we can do differently to see more results.
“The biggest misconception to getting fit is spot reducing…so many people think that they can do sit-ups/crunches and the fat in that particular area will go away. Fat melts off the WHOLE body, not just in one area. The key is to work the whole body, through strength training, interval training, flexibility and rest…getting enough sleep is paramount.
Eating high water-content foods, high fiber foods and doing things that increase your metabolism will help you lose fat AND create better health.”
