Yoga for the New Year
January is the most popular month for getting back into exercise routines, and creating healthier practices compared to the indulgences during the holiday months of November and December. Yoga is a great way to detox mentally and physically, and help create an overall sense of well being. At Travaasa, the Detox Yoga class is practiced in a warm room to evoke sweat, which helps the detox process. The focus is to practice postures that create twists, and tourniquets to help ring out toxins from the tissues.
