As Senior Director of Spas at Travaasa® Experiential Resorts, Maggie Wagner brings 20 years of hands-on experience in the spa industry in operations, management and strategic planning expertise. Wagner’s focus for Travaasa® Experiential Resorts is in delivering high-quality spa services, treatments and product education along with a specialty in organic products that provide healing health and treatments.

Prior to joining the Travaasa® Experiential Resorts team in July, 2009, Wagner was the opening spa director of the eco-luxury spa on the coast of Maine, Inn By The Sea in Cape Elizabeth. She also has served as spa director for Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa in California and the Four Seasons Resort in Jackson Hole, WY.

During her tenure at the Four Seasons Resort, the property attained recognition as the number four rated spa in the U.S. and Canada during her first year and became the number one rated spa in Wagner’s second year, by Travel & Leisure magazine reader’s poll in 2006 and 2007.

Additionally, she was the Opening Spa Director at Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands, voted number two resort in the Caribbean by Travel & Leisure in 2005; and was Spa Director for Greenbrier Spa at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort and Barnsley Gardens Resort, Adairsville, GA; and part of the Spa Team and Starwoods Task Force for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in White Plains, NY.

In addition to management, Wagner has experience in therapeutic and technical competencies with certifications in reflexology, massage therapy and neuromuscular therapy.
