Travaasa® Experiential Resorts announces the appointment of Mark Stebbings to Managing Director of the brand’s growing portfolio of destination resorts and spas. Stebbings recently served as general manager at Travaasa® Hāna, Maui where he oversaw the transition of the property from the Hotel Hāna-Maui to a Travaasa® resort. With properties in Austin and on Maui, Travaasa® Experiential Resorts provide guests with locally-infused, authentic travel experiences focused on five pillars of activities.
As managing director, Stebbings will oversee brand consistency and synergy for both current and future Travaasa® properties. He will also ensure guests receive the same extraordinary service at each destination by overseeing the basic operations including front desk, housekeeping and facilities.

Prior to his role with Travaasa® Experiential Resorts, Stebbings served as general manager of The Point, an intimate, award-winning luxury retreat in upstate New York. Before moving to the position of general manager, he worked in various capacities at The Point’s sister properties; Lake Placid Lodge and The Wilcox in Aiken, South Carolina. He began his career in the hospitality industry working with legendary French Chef Albert Roux at Bertie’s in the Hotel Biltmore, Paris, and then working in Switzerland’s Hotel Angleterre.
Stebbings received his degree in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management in Bournemouth, England.
