With the holidays in full swing, Travaasa Hana, Maui is getting in the festive spirited by hosting the “Heart of Hana” Holiday Event at the Plantation Guest House on Sunday, December 16th. East Maui musicians and hula dancers will gather to celebrate the release of a new CD by Hana’s own CJ Helekahi and premiere falsetto recording artist Leokane Pryor. The new CD, titled “No Ka Pueo”, is a collection of Hawaiian and English classic and original songs by two of Hana’s favorite musicians. Performing at the event along with CJ and Leokane will be many generations of Hana’s most talented singers, musicians and hula dancers in an uplifting evening showcasing Hana’s rich musical traditions. This historic event will include holiday performances by Joyce Mynar, Stephen Henderson, Lee-ann Paman, the Tolentino ‘ohana and other special guests.
This very special musical event is a rare opportunity to experience the magic of Hana and the gracious spirit of the community during the holiday season.
Admission to the event itself is free and pupus will be available for purchase (no coolers please). Holiday attire is encouraged. Seating will be limited, so we recommend bringing a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the evening on the tented lawn. CDs can be preordered signed and gift wrapped by calling 808-248-8262, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting www.leokane.com.
For this special event we are offering 40% off stays during December 14th-17th. Make your room reservations today by calling 855-TO-TRAVAASA and referring to the “Heart of Hana” event.
